The Feel-Good Part

The sound design of the show is incredible. The use of music elevates the story and builds tension and anticipation, which is guaranteed to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The sound for the action sequences proves to be the highlight of the scene episode after episode. The choice of music is impeccable as it fits the plot well.  The art style and animation has remained consistent, which is a good thing for people who plan on watching both the seasons all at once. Some of the new characters that were added to the show are quite intriguing and fun to watch. They bring different things to the show, which manages to keep things interesting.

The Disappointing Factor

The characters lack depth and come off as uninteresting despite this being the second season. There isn’t much development and growth they through, they feel stunted and one-dimensional. Most of the characters in season one weren’t given much screen-time in this season, which will be disappointing for fans of the show. The new additions are not written well enough for the audience to care about them, hence they may lose interest. The story gets boring after the initial episode as it is approach as a straight-forward mission. The adversities thrown at the characters don’t feel big enough to land in a way that’s impactful. The plot relies on clichés and not much is done outside that, which gets frustrating to watch as it feels like the story has been done by other series before. The fight scenes are poorly executed, which is quite a let-down as it is an action show after all. The plot doesn’t maintain the consistency of the first season in terms of narrative structure, making it feel like a different show.

In-Depth Analysis

Season two is severely lacking in many aspects such as richness in plot and depth in the story and characters, which makes it a weak successor. Many existing fans may drop the show and not invest their time in season three because of the lacking quality.

Star Power

All the actors gave great performances in terms of voice acting; they did their best in bringing the characters to life.

Overall Opinion

If you were a fan you might want to watch this season, and for good reason. The show is quite enjoyable, it lacks the tension in the first season but it does make for a relaxing binge-watch. Lowering your expectations for this one might help enjoy the series better. It is a decent watch when it isn’t being compared to the previous season.
