Anime Digest

It is a thrilling story about Miko Yutsoya, a high school girl. Unlike any other child, she can see ghosts. She can see how these monsters are haunting her and the people around her, even her best friend. She does her best to ignore these ghosts, but they try to get her attention in so many ways, and she keeps ignoring them. She tries prayer beads and salt to keep the ghosts away. She rethinks the decision to ignore the ghosts when her friend’s life gets in danger.

The Feel-Good Part

It is a horror comedy anime with a lot of humorous elements. It’s great to see her fight her fear. It’s a different kind of slice of life since it’s a combination of supernatural and horror. The animation and the art are suitable. The soundtrack is good. The show is very light-hearted, but it’s thrilling. The humor is on point. The scenes where she acts as if she could not see ghosts are humorous. Showing the backstory of the spirits is good. That makes the plot a bit more interesting.

The Disappointing Factor

The main problem with the show is the repetition of scenes. There is not much development of characters. The plot is interesting, but it is pretty bland. They have not-so-good scenes, which are more like fan service. Miko sees ghosts every day, and they try to get a reaction out of her. But she ignores them all. It is humorous initially, but this is the only contextual information in every episode.

In-Depth Analysis

The plot is about a high school girl who starts seeing ghosts. Unlike other horror shows, the protagonist decides to ignore the presence of spirits. There are a lot of funny scenes, which makes it interesting to watch. The show did justice to the protagonist, making her a strong character. There is a lot to learn from the plot and the characters. The art style in some of the horror scenes is a bit boring. Other than that, the animation and art are suitable.

Star Power

The casting is small. Miko is one of the main characters of the anime. She is represented as a cute but dull girl. Most importantly, she can see and hear ghosts. She is strong-willed. She tried to face the problem. There is not much character development for the characters. Most of the show is concentrated on the main characters and a little on the supporting characters.

Overall Opinion

The anime is slow-paced. We can’t comment on whether it is good or bad from the first episodes. The plot takes time to build up. Even though it’s a horror comedy, it gets a bit emotional when it reveals the story of the spirits. It’s a different kind of approach to the slice-of-life genre. Some might not like it because of some ecchi scenes.
