Anime Digest

Kaguya Shinomiya and Chika Fujiwara go to wash themselves off in showers after they go to the swimming pool. There the soap slips, and they find themselves in a slippery condition. At that time, Miyuki Shirogane and Yuu Ishigami go through a pornographic magazine in which the characters have a resemblance with the members of the other student council. Then there arises a cooking competition between Chika and Miko to find the master chef among them. These things reveal the side of the board which nobody has ever seen before.

The Feel Good Part

The soundtrack matched perfectly with every scene. The voice acting is excellent. The cooking competition between them is fascinating. Some of the scenes relate to real life. The transition between the set is good. The show has a good number of humorous scenes. It brings a new side to the average love-is-a-war anime. The art style and character representation are good. The plot is good, and the humorous scenes are delivered perfectly.

The Disappointing Factor

It is extra when they compare the girls to the characters in the book. It feels boring when they stretch out the scenes. The animation is terrible when compared to the anime. The beginning has some ecchi scenes, which are not appreciated by many. It is a little confusing to watch the plot go differently in a few scenes.

In-Depth Analysis

The OVA is very different compared to the original anime. The plot doesn’t have any connection with the actual story of the anime. The art style and animation are good. The characters are shown well. It has some fan service scenes. But every OVA has locations partly suggested for fan service. The OVA has three parts. They made the OVA without any connection with the original plot. Even though there isn’t a good storyline, it is still fun to watch. It didn’t have the same quality as the anime.

Star Power

Kaguya Shinomiya, Chika Fujiwara, Erika Kose, Karen Kino, Tsubasa Tanuman, are the main characters of the show. In the anime, all the characters have intense personalities. In the OVA, we got the humorous side of the characters. Konomi Kohara, Aoi Koga, and Makoto Furukawa are the voice actors of the show. They did their best to do the voice acting according to the scenes.

Overall Opinion

Overall, for those who watched the previous seasons of Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen, it will be a good one. It is pretty enjoyable even though the plot mainly focuses on humor. If we put aside the fan service in the story, it is pretty good. The OVA contains three stories with an excellent humorous plot. The OVA doesn’t add up to the actual story. Setting aside the ecchi scenes, it is suitable for a stress-free watch and for having a good laugh.
