Elfen Lied is a Japanese manga series. The violence committed by the main character earned it the distinction of edgiest anime ever when it debuted. Lucy is a Dicklonius, a person that can grip objects with invisible arms. Even though Elfen Lied is brutal, it is also very emotional and poignant and Lucy's acts have a purpose. She gets subjected to extensive rounds of hell and testing done by the government. When she is set free, her trauma prevents her from feeling regret as she slaughters everyone in her way.

Terror in Resonance, also called Terror in Tokyo, is a Japanese anime TV series by MAPPA. Despite this series not having a large following, this is a must-watch series if you love anime. A nuclear weapon is used against the Settlement for the aim of the terrorist cell Nine and Twelve, which are a couple of adolescent teenagers who decide to form Sphinx. The government employed the kids and placed them in the Settlement as a subject for their experiments and human resources. Nine and Twelve can escape, due to which they are so keen on vengeance.

Overlord is a Japanese series. Even though it takes place in virtual reality, it is a narrative about a powerful individual who lacks moral inhibitions. When the server closes in YGGDRASIL, the world continues to run, with the NPCs living their own lives. Momonga the main character is trying to figure out what has caused this phenomenon since he cannot log out. Later he gains in-game enhancements that change his behaviour to the point where he has no regrets about killing characters.

6. Saga Of Tanya The Evil

The Saga of Tanya the Evil, known as Yojo Senki, is a Japanese novel series. Originally from Japan, Tanya is reincarnated in different versions after being killed in 2013. However, it is not the only alteration he must contend with because he is now inhabiting the body of a nine-year-old girl. Tanya grows up to be a powerful wizard and military officer despite being young, she has no respect for human life. Even though she lacks morality and is essentially a psychopath. She behaves this way because she wants to enjoy a trouble-free existence and die peacefully.

7. Hellsing Ultimate

There are several vampire-related anime, but none is as bloody as this. It shows a conflict between the Vatican, the Hell sing organization and a last-standing Nazi that seeks to rule the globe through vampires. Alucard, the series protagonist, is the strongest vampire in the entire universe and serves as Hell's supreme weapon. Rachel Gardner is a young girl and Zach is a vast serial murderer. They must work together to rise through the building floor by floor after being trapped by a mystery person with only one way out. Each floor has a boss who is as evil and vicious as Zack.  Zack is Rachel’s ally and friend as they attempt to flee the building. Rachel is also not as pure or lovely as she looks. She appears to have a mystery which is just as terrible as Zack's.
