Drama Digest

Yurang Market(TV Show), Seo Jang-hoon, Jang Yoon-Jeong, and Yoo Se-Yoon host the South Korean television show Travelling Market. From February 16 until August 9, 2020, it is broadcast on JTBC every Sunday at 19:40. The cast members visit a celebrity’s home in every episode and assist in the sale of the celeb’s stuff.

The Feel Good Part

Usually, the star would keep the unsold products after the initial selling stage (which includes selling on the day of shooting and behind the scenes by the production staff).

The Disappointing Factor

Beginning with episode 6, viewers from all across South Korea can purchase the celebrity’s possessions that were not sold during the first selling phase via the show’s website after each episode has been broadcast. The second stage of sale would be on a first-come, first-served basis.

In-Depth Analysis

In every episode, the cast members pay a visit to a celebrity’s home and assist in the sale of the celebrity’s things. The main characters are each responsible for selling a few items on Danggeun Market, an online second-hand shopping site. When a contract with a purchaser is reached, the celebrity and the cast member in charge of the item will meet with the purchaser to complete the transaction. The episode’s Selling King will be the cast member who has sold the most products.

Star Power

In some episodes, a special guest would visit the residence and have the cast members sell his or her possessions, or a guest will appear as an Intern Selling Fairy and compete with the cast members to sell their belongings. When a contract with a buyer is reached, usually one who lives near the celebrity’s house, the celebrity & the cast member in charge of the item would personally meet the buyer to complete the transaction. The episode’s Selling King will be the cast member who sells the most products (or earns the most money if there is a tie in the number of items sold). The production team would sell the unsold objects behind the scenes once each program was completed, and their new owners would be presented.

Overall Opinion

If you are bored of the usual reality show, this show can give you a taste of uniqueness and fun.
