In-Depth Analysis

The show revolves around several games and challenges between the members as the theme of possibility holds it together. The producers decided on this concept of ‘If’ using the mirror image of the number 7 and making it look like F. This offers varied possibilities in keeping the games and challenges mysterious and enthralling. It enables them to uphold the surprising factor. The curiosity level gets hyped by including more games and creating tension throughout the show. Because of these factors, these shows are a jar of memes that often gain attraction on social media platforms.

From the beginning, the rage of competition heats up and progresses with fun quizzes, sports, missions and much more. Aside from the members’ charisma, their reactions further heighten the show. Like most variety shows based on K-pop bands, it also picturises the on-screen bond between the members strategically and naturally. It is these aspects that make it heartwarming and funny at the same time. Nevertheless, the chaotic nature of the group doesn’t cease extinguished. Seventeen’s reality shows are notable for their hysterical concoction of weirdness and chaotic energy. From the quiz section to the several missions and games, the mayhem of the members comes loose in every aspect. One of the most amusing things about it was how they turned made-up situations into serious things and enhanced the entertainment factor. Like, how Woozi and Hoshi turned the 1st ever room sports into a high-profile game as the members made a grand entrance. They spiced it up with an award speech and several such professionality hilariously. In another episode, the trio Hoshi, Woonwoo and DK portray different views as they try to unfathom missions as Woowon gets lost in nature and random things. DK and Hoshi, being the hard players, try to keep up with time. Yet their different reactions make this episode comical and still not enough. Their never-ending fun has often resulted in the fandom hoping for their sitcom as the members get caught in an infinite loop of cuteness, weirdness and chaotic energy.

Star Power

Yoon Jeong Han, Dino aka Lee Chan, Kim Min Gyu, Boo Seung Kwan, Hoshi aka Kwon Soon Young, DK aka Lee Seok Min, Jun aka Wen Jun Hui, The8 aka Xu Ming Hao, Woozi, Vernon and Joshua Hong are the members of the band. In some episodes, Kim Min Gyu’s absence was replaced by his cut-out. The staff’s faces are replaced with pictures of his face and thus marks the band’s togetherness.

Overall Opinion

It is a must-see for the Seventeen fandom or Carats or if you’re looking for something short and funny. Their cheerful furore curves lighthearted humour over the show and makes it entertaining.
