Drama Digest
It is the second season of the famous South Korean variety show, High School Styling Icon. It is a survival show. High school students participate in this styling competition (thus, that is where the name of the series originates from). A hundred students audition in the first round, out of which top twenty are selected and qualified for further competition. They then further battle with each other to win the title. As the contestants go ahead, they undergo different fun fashion challenges and are eliminated based on the results.
The Feel-Good Part
The best part is how the show is not at all predictable. Being a variety show that features a competition and follows the pattern of a survival reality show, the show always has something new to offer. No two rounds, or the fashion challenges that the contestants have to go through, are ever the same. There are always new challenges and tasks. Furthermore, you are never sure about who is going to perform how. The best performer of one week might be the weakest in the next. The show will not just keep you entertained but will also always have you sitting at the edge of your seat waiting for the next episodes. Also, although a survival show yet, it is not at all toxic, and the participants are lovely.
The Disappointing Factor
The show has high school kids as participants, and hence, they are young boys and girls packed with enthusiasm. It won’t even take long before you fall in love with them. However, it will break your heart when the judges sometimes gave slightly cruel (although realistic) comments, which will dispirit the young competitors. Occasionally it would feel like they are just focusing on the minute problems and almost ignoring the excellent part moreover since it is a fashion show, you might often have a different opinion than that of the judges.
In-Depth Analysis
The show used to air on Mondays at 8 pm on YouTube and was broadcasted on Naver TV too. It is produce by Blank Corporation. It has a lot of ardent young energy, and you will surely adore it. Watching all those young kids work so passionately to fulfilling their dream will arouse a unique child-like zeal within you. You will constantly root for them and might even yell at your TV screens out of frustration when they do something wrong. Not to forget, the show will surely update you regarding the fashion trends and will probably help you in upgrading your fashion game. You will get to witness many outstanding styling ideas as well as some great fashion hacks too.

The show is hosted by ‘Kim Hee-Chul,’ and he has done a fabulous job. Further, the judging panel includes ‘Park Tae Il,’ ‘Reddy,’ ‘Han Hyeyeon,’ ‘Stephanie Lee,’ and ‘Eum Hyeokjin.’
Overall Opinion
You should check it out. It does not have too many episodes, and therefore, you can easily fit it into your schedule. It’s a fun show, and you will probably love it, especially if you are someone young or a massive devotee of fashion.
