2060 is a musical show where celebrity guests are put to work together with virtual life characters. They work together to put on musical performances. Does the show has the potential to become the future of talent shows?

The feel-good part

The behind-the-scenes revelation was good to see. The variety show has covered a multitude of themes. Many of the v-life characters featured Chinese elements. The characters had a radical design.

The disappointing factor

There was not any major flaw in the show it was a decent TV show to watch.

In-depth analysis

The eight performers or v-life as they were called on the show 2060 starring Bai Jugang and Song Yuqi. Wang Xi wanted to test the waters of the virtual character industry. It covered themes from dating to singing and dancing. The first season has brightened China’s top animation studios. Their virtual images had high growth potential. They featured typical anime characters to ensure popularity. The producers, audience and the v-life characters can interact on stage through two screens. It was a platform to expose and popularise animated images on a large scale.

The efforts of the animators were notable. The characters were produced amazingly. The v-life characters captured the attention of the audience.

Overall opinion

The show’s goal was to popularize China’s outstanding original animated imagery. It will not be fair to say that the show has a rewatch value as TV shows become boring when watched again.
