Movie Digest

Yuri Kishibeno is a housewife with a husband and two children. Her sister died, and she attended her funeral. Her sister is having a reunion with her friends, so Yuri attends on her behalf and to inform her friends that she has died. There she met her first love, but he mistakenly took her as the dead sister. After a few days, she gets a message from him saying he still has feelings for her. The cinimatography and framing are great. The background allows you to focus on the characters and emotions.

 The Feel-Good Part

The show contains a lot of relatable scenes. The protagonist made some decisions that an average person would not have taken in certain settings. The main character is the attraction of the movie. The cinematography team did a great job. They portrayed every scene quite well. Everything is perfect here. It is well directed and well written. It is carried out in accordance with the preferences of the audience. There is situational humour here and there. The plot has a melodrama genre going on in the background. It is expressed neatly.

The Disappointing Factor

The show is not for those who want colourful and thrilling scenes. It is a documentary, so the plot is slow-paced and soft. Even though the main character’s being unacceptable because of her situation, it still doesn’t explain some of the things she is doing. The movie is presented subtly without any rush, but since it is expressed in such an aesthetic, it won’t be boring to watch.

In-Depth Analysis

The movie is good as a documentary. Acting is something interesting to say. They played every scene with emotion. The main character’s niece hasn’t gotten over the death of her mother, so she couldn’t open a letter her mother left for her. These scenes are done perfectly. The story goes forward with the letter and invitation the main character’s sister left for her daughter before her death. He combined different genres and perspectives into this single movie. It is interesting to watch how they reveal all the mixed up situations.

Star Power

Characters are everything in a movie. Matsu Takako plays Yuri Kishibeno, Fukuyama Masaharu is Kyoshiro Otosaka, Hirose Suzu is Tono Ayumi, Tono Misaki, Kamiki Ryunosuke is Otosaka Kyoshiro [Young], and Mori Nana is Tono Yuri. The movie is well cast. Every character is perfect for their scenes. The characters expressed everything good. Supporting characters also did their best. The main character expressed her feelings very well. She acted as if she was a teenager with her emotions. The way her husband acted was also praiseworthy.

Overall Opinion

The plot is a little deep. It takes time to understand the main character. If we couldn’t understand the reason behind her decisions, we would never have liked the movie. The aesthetics and the cinematography are pleasing.
