Drama Digest
As the story starts, Nobita finds a fossil dinosaur egg with rocks in the dinosaur fossil exhibition site that he had once visited. He returned it to its original state with the “Time blanket”. After hatching, they found a new species of dinosaur that is not named in the Cosmic Encyclopedia. They call them Kyu and Myu. They want to take care of them but residents of the city are still discovering dinosaurs. Nobita and his friends were accustomed to bring them back to the Cretaceous period 66 million years ago, the dinosaur’s time. Just the time of Dinosaurs Extinction.
The Feel-Good part
Like any other Doraemon movie, this movie does not fail in providing entertainment. The animation quality of the storyline, every detail is exemplary.
The Disappointing Part
Being a Doraemon movie, there are not many disappointing factors in this one and fans seemed to enjoy every part of it.
In-depth analysis
Nobita visited the dinosaur exhibition with his friends. During a fossil excavation, experienced vowed to his friends that he would discover a dinosaur and dare to eat peanuts with his eyes if he did not fulfill the dare. After leaving the excavation site Nobita trips over a rock and wonders if he has found a fossil egg. He goes home and convinces Doraemon to use “time wrapping cloth” on the fossil egg and as a result twin dinosaurs emerge. Doraemon found that they are a new species of dinosaur not listed in the “Complete Encyclopedia of Space”. Nobita named the twin dinosaurs Kyu and Myu and learned how to take care of them. The two fast-growing dinosaurs showed a difference. While Myu has learned to fly, Kyu has not and was smaller than Myu. As Kyu and Myu grew bigger, Nobita’s room was not enough, so they used the “Breeding diorama set” to allow Kyu and Myu more freedom. The day when Nobita fulfills his dare comes, and as his friends arrives, they discover that Nobita had indeed found a dinosaur. At that moment, Kyu and Myu made a lot of commotion, which made Nobita’s mom to come upstairs. They tried to hide Kyu and Myu by using the “spatial movement crayon”, yet, the townspeople saw Kyu and Myu. They realized Kyu and Myu had reached the growth limit and should return to their time. Although hard, Nobita decided to accept that it is the best for them.
Star Power
The whole show ‘Doraemon’ itself can keep people hooked on it. Regardless of any age group or time generation, people seem to enjoy every fragment of it.
Overall Opinion
This is a comfortable movie, does not need great investment and it will also make nostalgia about the times when Doraemon was a part of everyone’s lives.
