Movie Digest

Aoi Nishino is a member of the archery club. He practices archery diligently and earnestly and is quite good at it. he is a bit grumpy character and doesn’t socialize much. Haruka Seno, his childhood friend and also a part of the archery club, is worried about him.

But, one day, suddenly, lightning strikes their school playground, and everything changes dramatically. The whole school has traveled back in time to the Sengoku period.

The Feel-Good part

The story is interesting. Brings something new to the spotlight. The plot is unique with good acting.

The Disappointing Factor

Despite having a good plot, the movie doesn’t stand out. There are many illogical things shown, like, high-school kids defeating ancient samurais.

In-Depth Analysis

The story revolves around Nishino Aoi. In a prestigious high school Students, including Nishino Aoi take part in extracurricular activities. Aoi is a part of the archery club.

One day, thunder strikes the school ground and they are all time-traveled to the Sengoku period, right before the historic battle of Okehazama.

Now there is no action in the movie, it’s just one-sided violence which is very pathetic. The storyline is too much. The plot is good but a drama would have been better. Many things are not explained very well and the ending is incomplete. The fighting scenes are horrible. Also, the movie has a lot of unnecessary melodrama, which is just irrational. It is full of plot holes and not at all that you’ll expect from watching the trailer. There were too many deaths without any means to an end and the students are dumb and irritating.

Star Power

Despite the movie being crappy, the acting is fine. But on a whole, the characters were boring.

Overall Opinion

The trailer promises a lot of things but the movie is not worth watching. It’s a mess of many plots and unexplained stories.
