Xiao Er Dong is a young lad who suffers from a congenital disease called multiple sclerosis inherited by his mother. His single father raises him and makes him live according to his rules. Xiao Da Ming, his father, is a taxi driver. Er Dong has a desire to run the marathon, like his mother. Everyone sees him as a diseased person. He wants to fulfill his wish while hiding it from his father as they both have different views of life. Fate brings the two together with their identities exchanged and standing side-by-side to run a marathon.

A non-local and Malaysian director directing this movie is notable. The movie was released around Father’s Day in China as it has an element of a father-son relationship. The movie is balanced well, and a few scenes are humorous. Both the father and son characters are amicable.
