The whole VR aspect of the plot is fascinating to watch as it gives a futuristic vibe. It is like dating apps, but in the distant future, which offers you a better enhanced and efficient experience in finding true love.
The Disappointing Factor
The plot, even if it sounds interesting, is tedious how it is portrayed on screen. It might be interesting for a few but people who have consumed similar narratives which offer a very utopian vision of the future may find it as silly and boring.
In-Depth Analysis
The film has a simple plot which does not make it stand out among other romantic dramas. However, the way the writing has been done for the movie is somewhat exciting. Mainly because the female lead has so much to offer to her audience with her character. The way her character showcases a vibrant and dynamic person but at the same time is naive is a good setting for the theme. Zhang Xin Yuan deserves extra credit, as she played her role very well.
Star Power
Zhang Xin Yuan and Wang Hao Xuan, in the lead roles, have done an excellent job. They showcase good chemistry on screen and offer an adorable romantic relationship. The casting is perfect for the film; all the actors are very attractive, which naturally makes the audience fall for them. Huang Yu Quan and Guo Jia Rui are also good in their roles as supporting actors.
Overall Opinion
It is a fine film if you are looking forward to some lighthearted futuristic romantic narrative. It is suitable for a one-time watch, but again, it is very subjective; some may like it, some may not.
