This fantasy, action movie is set in 1161. In the year, the territory of the great, Southern Song Dynasty was split, and Wanyan Liang, the emperor of the Jurchen Jin empire invaded them.
Amidst the cruelty on the Song people by the Jin dynasty, rose a 21-year-old warrior named Xin Qiji. The movie’s central theme is on him and his fight to oust them.

In-Depth Analysis
In the year 1161, the Southern Song Dynasty is in turmoil and split. During this time, Wanyan Liang, the ruling emperor of the Jin empire invades the Central Plains, the Song territory.
The Jin’s met out harsh treatment on the Song citizens including a harsh recruitment policy. Amidst this, a hero named Xin Qiji rises up in arms to throw out the Jin’s. He joins a more influential army under the aegis of Geng Jing, and together they win several battles.
In 1162, with the aim of unifying the Song dynasty, Qiji is sent out on a mission to garner support. On his return, he discovers that Geng Jing is murdered by a traitor and the army is demotivated.
Will Qiji’s army of 50 soldiers take on the mighty Jin army successfully forms the story.
Star Power
The cast is led Tse Miu and the supporting actors are good.
