The Feel-Good Part

The movie has well-articulated characters with distinctive qualities that complement the genre perfectly. The general concept of the story is entertaining and griping for the audience. Some unique elements were surprisingly good enough. The creepy back story of the ghost ship was well executed. The budding romance between Di Ren Jie and his fiance is wholesome and amusing even though it got overshadowed in the entire movie.

The Disappointing Factor

The acting from the leads wasn’t up to the mark, and the ending was far more predictable. The fight scenes and martial arts did have some impact but might seem more choreographed and unreal to the audience. The movie portrays an old-fashioned plot with the same standard visual effects that do nothing for the viewers. The whole film falls flat and dull in execution, even though it got good enough basic storylines. But the movie is easily forgettable as a whole.
