When a mysterious pink rose lutaya fabric comes into the possession of Elada’s family, it opens the Pandora’s box. The fabric is woven by Elada grandmother Elawin for Princess Minphayu but once woven, Elawin becomes blind.

Elada has a passion for textiles and returns to Thailand after studying the preservation of ancient fabric in England.

Accompanying her on return are her newly found friends Tanthai and Phumaree, a couple and Anthony, a Britisher who travels to Thailand to garner information on a certain Lt. Col David Danison.
