Drama Digest

Kiss Sixth Sense is a story about Hong Ye-seul, a woman with supernatural powers who can see the future when kissed. One day, she accidentally kisses her boss Cha Min-hu on her neck and sees the future of the two together. Her life becomes more complicated when Ye-sool’s ex-boyfriend, Lee Pil-yo, comes back into her life.

The Feel-Good Part

This show is a one-of-a-kind show. The plot and the overall setting of the show are excellent. The overall chemistry between the main characters was impressive. The fantasy part of the story with superpowers was exciting and engaging.

The Disappointing Factor

The major disappointing factor in the show is that the story was predictable. The murder mystery and past felt out of place and unnecessary. The half-baked suspense makes it all feel immature, rushed, and fragmented. The story had a lot of potential but couldn’t carry itself through the entirety.

In-Depth Analysis

Kiss Sixth Sense, also known as Kiseusigseusenseu, follows the story of two people with special sensory abilities born from a specific event who fall in love over time while working together on Planning Team 1 at Zeus Promotions Company. Hong Ye Seul is an aspiring employee who has climbed to a prominent position through her impressive work. She can to see the future when her lips touch someone. Cha Min Hu is the leader of the team and mentor of Ye Seul, who is strict and intelligent. He can hear even faint voices in the distance and is not good at getting close to people. When two lips meet by chance, the story begins to journey together, unite and bring happiness to their lives. Lee Pil Yo is the ex-boyfriend of the famous Ye Seul, who came back intending to reconcile with her. The story arc was established quite smoothly. The genre is old, the story is simple, and the concept is plain, but the elements are fun, the development is exhilarating, and the production is impressive. The character arcs are beautifully constructed, and I loved how the author highlighted the uncharacteristic ways of ending relationships. The mysterious storyline ending seemed abrupt and felt unsatisfactory.

Star Power

The star power of the show is the main cast. Both the male lead and female lead did a great job to enact their characters. The characters were unique but all over the place. Still, the main actors did their best, and their chemistry was beautiful.

Overall Opinion

Overall, Kiss Sixth Sense is surprisingly well-crafted and very sweet and refreshing. It was a short, charming, and fun watch. It has a few plot holes and drawbacks, but it’s a sweet romance and lovely relationship adorned with standard fantasy and average secrets.
