The Feel-Good Part

This drama has its charm, unlike its other adaptations in Chinese and South Korean. This drama is efficient and masterful in storytelling. This drama has good production values and great visuals. Each character and their plotline was jotted down adequately.

The Disappointing Factor

The series will not disappoint you with production or execution. It is almost flawless. The only issue is with its music.

In-Depth Analysis

It is a familiar story that consists of a rich guy and a poor girl. The primary character, Thyme is written immaculate; the, way he waits for Gorya is adorable. The way Ren expresses his emotions was incredable. He has a storm inside him but doesn’t look dead from outside. He acknowledges Gorya’s presence. Gorya is smart, brave and beautiful. She never approved what F4 was doing. Kevin is a scene-stealer, although his storyline didn’t start. He speaks less but more meaningful. MJ’s character got lost behind the three of them. Kevin and MJ keep the group together and doesn’t follow Thyme blindly. It can be said that Thyme is the leader, but when F4 is together, they are all equal. The bullying scenes were harsh but they were different from other adaptations. It has shown a good combination of romance and comedy. Gorya’s character is better than Shanchai in Meteor garden. This Thailand version keeps Thyme a full-fleshed character. Each episode has its story arc and ends satisfyingly. The layered plotlines, subtle nuances and complex characters are like a lovely painting. The way they handled the storyline was impressive. The way story evolves, and the character and their emotions fit perfectly. The story felt genuine and was presented in a simple way.

Star Power

The star cast was terrific. They fitted perfectly in their roles and performed them effortlessly. The actors did a great job. The characters were dealt with decency. The actors casted their parts perfectly. The female lead was extremely talented and depicted Gorya’s personality well.

Overall View

For those who have seen the old versions of boys over flowers, may feel the story is the same. But for the people watching it for the first time, it may prove to be a refreshing drama.
