Drama Digest

After living in France, Theo goes to Thailand to study at his father’s school. Living in Thailand once again makes his surroundings new. He meets a childhood friend Akk who lives opposite him and attends the same university as him. Theo finds a book in the library that welcomes him, and the writer signs Enchanté, which means “nice to meet you” in French. Theo becomes curious about who this Enchanté guy is and tells Ak about it. Ak quickly exposes the situation, and four guys come forward claiming that they are Enchanté. It made him determined to find out who ‘Enchanté’ was. Will Theo successfully guess who the real Enchanté is among the four guys claiming to be him? Who do you think  Enchanté is?

The Feel Good Part

A Thai/French BL already sounds interesting. Hearing French dialogue is attractive, as they got a few people who were French speakers to show up in this. Also, the book of Enchante sounded pretty good speaking French as well. The school campus used was beautiful, as well as the filming locations they found in Thailand. The music in this had French flair too.

The Disappointing Part

As for the character Theo, he seems to be self-absorbed and selfish as a protagonist in a drama. Everything in the series revolves around him, and it might seem unfair to the people for other characters. Also, there aren’t enough redeeming characteristics except one or two.

In-Depth Analysis

The story itself is new and pretty interesting. The side characters and Enchanté wannabes are mostly skippable, except for Akk´s family. They are sweet, fun, lovable, and the icing for this drama. The story progression becomes a bit predictable in upcoming episodes.

Star Power

Though the chemistry between the leads is good, what keeps this series going is Akk, as he is the star power of this show. Akk is a fun character to watch. He is a guy every person, regardless of gender, can dream of, as he is both caring and entertaining and gives us lovely scenes.

Overall Opinion

This show is cute and enjoyable. The cinematography and setting make the series seem almost like a fairy tale. It’s an overall good concept for a story, and if you like the childhood friends to lovers trope, you will enjoy the show because it does have some fluffy moments.
