Drama Digest

Yoon Hyun Woo works as the loyal, hardworking, and faithful secretary for the Soonyang chaebol family, which was established by Jin Yang Cheol and is in charge of the wealthy Soonyang Group business empire. During a fight for control of the empire between Jin Yang Cheol’s heirs, Hyun Woo is brutally tricked and killed on the instructions of an unnamed chaebol family member. He inhabits Jin Do Jun, the smallest member of the family, and magically comes to life as a tiny kid. As Yoon Hyun Wo realizes what has happened, he intends to use his new “identity” to instigate a hostile takeover of the group in order to seek revenge on those who killed him. But is it really possible to persuade or control the vicious and avaricious CEO of the Soonyang Group, who firmly believes in the principle of primogeniture? Will Hyun Woo be able to wrest authority from Jin Yang Cheol’s children? And what role will Seo Min Young, the “Soonyang Group Grim Reaper” and persistent public prosecutor, play in all of this?

The Feel-Good Part

The main character is aware of future occurrences and plays with stocks and investments to his advantage. It’s hilarious to see him spar with his competitors. The political maneuvering is done fairly nicely, and it never becomes monotonous or stale. The drama is enhanced by a moving and potent soundtrack that expertly highlights dramatic situations. In addition, the performance is superb throughout, which is expected given the experienced cast.

The Disappointing Factor

It’s a sad trend that the majority of Soong Joong Ki’s female stars are only props who don’t add anything to the story. The actress, who wasn’t given much to work with to begin with, plays the same female lead and turns in a quite unimpressive and uninspired performance. The relationship is unreal, and the couple doesn’t have any chemistry together. This is why it has been a comfort to me that the love story was only a side storyline throughout the drama and was always pushed to the back when it wasn’t necessary.

In-Depth Analysis

The Soonyang chaebol family, which manages the rich Soonyang Group business empire and was founded by Jin Yang Cheol, employs Yoon Hyun Woo as their devoted, diligent, and obedient secretary. Hyun Woo is brutally deceived and executed on the orders of an unidentified chaebol family member during a power struggle between Jin Yang Cheol’s offspring for control of the empire. He miraculously awakens as a little child while inhabiting Jin Do Jun, the family’s youngest member. Yoon Hyun Wo plans to utilize his new “identity” to create a hostile takeover of the group in order to exact revenge on those who killed him after realizing what has transpired. But can the ruthless and avaricious CEO of the Soonyang Group, who strongly believes in the right of primogeniture, be so simple to convince or subdue? Will Hyun Woo be successful in taking control away from Jin Yang Cheol’s kids? And what role will the tenacious public prosecutor Seo Min Young—also known as the “Soonyang Group Grim Reaper”—play in all of this?

Star Power

The character played by Song Joong Ki in this scene is an intelligent, cunning edge lord who is seeking retribution. He may not be the most complex or deep character out there, but he excels at playing the stereotypically attractive, charming, and conveniently overpowering oppa, who is easy to cheer for and puts on a wonderful performance.

Lee Sung Min’s grandfather was without doubt my greatest strength. His personality is as cruel as they come. A real anti-hero with the best business sense, expansionist ambition, and corporate brutality In all actuality, the grandpa is a flawed character—yet the one who you will grow to love the most. The best part of the entire story is without a doubt his connection with his grandson (Song Joong Ki), which encompasses love, sympathy, respect, and even competition.

Overall Opinion

If you are a fan of Joong Ki or enjoy plots that truly take into account the depth of the story and characters, then this drama is the one you have been looking for.
