Drama Digest

The show unravels the story of Cheon Ji Hun, who is the male lead of this series. He used to be a prosecutor who turned into a lawyer. He is a brilliant lawyer with a very classy look. His hair has a very stylish look which makes him standout from the others. His specialty is, that he only charges 1 dollar that is 1000 Korean Won. His late fiancée started this legacy in order to help the poor people and since then he tries his best to get his clients the justice they deserve. He is a very skilled lawyer and fights against the most renowned and rich lawyers around. He gets his help from his two friends – Baek Ma Ri and Seo Min Hyeok. Baek Ma Ri is Ji Hun’s assistant who graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Insttute. She was forced by her grandfather to work for him, as her grandfather also owns the renowned Baek Law Firm. She is a very confident and cheerful lady. She uses unique measures to solve out cases and often ends up arguing with Ji Hun. Seo Min Hyeok is like a carbon copy of Ji Hun. He often behaves and talks like him. He works for Ji Hun and helps in figuring out cases. He always looks for Ji Hun and stays loyal to their friendship.

The Feel-Good Part

The show has some really funny and cool moments. The cases that they solved were also very interesting and mysterious to watch. The chemistry between the two leads is great, they always find something to argue about but make a great pair anyhow.

The Disappointing Factor

The show had absolutely no romance which the audiences were anticipating. There were a few sweet and nice moments but there were no love stories or romantic scenes. The show was cut down from 16 episodes to 12 episodes, so the ending episodes were not neatly executed.

In-Depth Analysis

The show is great with a hint of everything. There was a perfect amount of humor, sadness, excitement and curiosity but only lacked proper romance. The humor was so good that you’d laugh randomly thinking about it. The story also unravels the past lives of the leads which was a turning point in their personalities. The show had a lot of potential and they started out great, but as they went through the series, it became messy. The cut-down of episodes made the show seemed very rushed and out of pace. There were also a few storylines that were left in the middle. The cast did a great job overall and their roles were quite interesting to watch.

Star Power

The cast did a great job. Namkoong Min played the role of Cheon Ji Hun, Kim Ji Eun played the role of Baek Ma Ri, Choi Dae Hoon played the role of Seo Min Hyuk. The supporting did an amazing job as well. Lee Deok Hwa played the role of Baek Hyun Mu, Park Jin Woo played the role of Sa Mu Jung, ha Sung Kwang played the role of Seo Young Joon, etc.

Overall Opinion

The show is good!
