Drama Digest

Hyeon Dowas’ ability to see ghosts has made his life hell. At such a troubled stage of his life, he meets Seong Jae and becomes an exorcist that uses VR devices. They set up a start-up named GhostVros, that helps the dead move onto perpetuity using VR technology. As the demands of these spirits increase, they find themselves in deep waters.

The Feel-Good Part

It’s a light-hearted and short drama that will leave you wanting more. It has no romance but is funny, entertaining, and gives us glimpses of bromance from the main leads. The script is well-written and even-paced.

The Disappointing Factor

The overall plot feels like bits and pieces of something and refuses to materialize as a whole. Some viewers might be frustrated towards the end as all loose ends are tied very quickly. There could have been more episodes and the drama could have been further developed.

In-Depth Analysis

Ghost Vros tells the story of a company that exorcises spirits with VR equipment. The employees at Ghost Vros will look for spirits with VR equipment and help them. The start-up company is founded by Hyeon Do, who was able to see Ghosts from a young age, and had a hard time because of that. Thereupon he met Seong Jae and with the use of VR equipment, he was able to exorcise the ghosts.

Star Power

Both the lead actors are good-looking and well-suited for the roles, and have pulled them off with excellence. The bromance between the leads is quite wholesome to watch.

Overall Opinion

It’s a great drama that will entertain you but leave you frustrated due to its short episode duration. However, it’s not like any other drama and will keep you hooked all through. It’s a thriller about the encounters of two cute guys and ghosts. This series has the potential to be made into a full-length drama instead of being a web drama.
