Drama Digest

The drama revolves around three female friends coming from absolutely different backgrounds. They are all currently in their 40s with revolting marriages. Starting from Gong Ma Ri, she is a very sly and quirky housewife and is married to a very famous celebrity named Lee Nak Gu. They also have a daughter who is studying abroad. In the eyes of the world, they seem to have a very stable and happy marriage. Until Ma Ri finds out about her husband’s secret affair, which makes her rage in anger and takes revenge on her husband. Chae Heesoo is the second female lead married into the famous and rich Chaebol family. Despite their successful empire, she has difficulty dealing with her marriage. Her husband, Nam Mu Yong, shows her no affection at all, as she cannot conceive. She also takes care of her motherinlaw, who is terminally ill and also has Alzheimer’s. Her bitter marriage makes a tremendous amount of frustration in her. Until one day, her motherinlaw creates a very tempting yet shocking offer to her. Yang Jina is the third friend with a very fascinating personality. Her husband was a horrible person, and they suffered many consequences during their marriage. With the money she got, she was now able to enjoy her life which she couldn’t previously, but this causes her to suffer from severe anxiety issues that she will be robbed, and her money will be stolen away by somebody else.

The Feel-Good Part

The show unravels a lot of drama and mystery. The storyline started out fantastic. They included so many different characters and introduced new stories. The three friends create an adorable and loyal bond. Despite the consequences they faced all their lives, they were always there for each other and even helped out in assisting crimes.

The Disappointing Factor

The show started great and had a lot of potentials, but at the end of the show, the plot did not seem justified. It also felt like they rushed the show at the beginning but later in the series, they kept dragging their stories as they ran out of ideas or content. The ending was quite unsatisfactory and could have been a better one.

In-Depth Analysis

The show was great, but it could have been much better. The characters were so good, and everyone did their roles amazingly. The story also unraveled a lot about their past and how they coped with their respective issues. Their husbands did them so dirty, yet they did not get the deserving ending. The ending was not very bad either, but it could have been much better. They included a lot of deaths, crimes, and mysteries, which made the series very interesting to watch. The humor on the show was so good as well. It was very dark, and they used it so perfectly in the necessary scenes. The female leads were so badass and inspiring. Their friendship made the show worth watching.

Star Power

The cast of the series was so good. Each of the characters did their roles so well. You could feel the adrenaline rush with how good their acting was. The opposing feelings did their parts so well that you would end up hating them. Lee Yoo Ri played the role of Gong Ma Ri, Lee Min Young played the role of Chae Heesoo, and Yoon So Yi played the role of Yang Ji Ah. The three female leads were so fantastic and played a phenomenal job. Jung Sang Hoon played the role of Lee Nak Goo, Kim Young Jae played the role of Nam Moo Yeong, Ryu Yeon Seok played the role of Kim Woo Bin, etc. the entire cast of the series was perfect.

Overall Opinion

The show is great and involves a lot of family drama and toxic relationships. If you love dramatic and mysterious series, this show will surely entice you!
