Drama Digest
The drama revolves around the high school students Ohno Shiori and Umenokisaka Bella. Ohno Shiori is an ordinary girl and she has recently lost her close friend, Sasaki Kozue, due to a tragic accident. One day, a new girl called Umenokisaka Bella gets transferred to Ohno Shiori’s class. Strangely, Bella is given the seat of the deceased Sasaki Kozue, and Shiori notices that she has the same keychain of a Kaleidoscope, which Shiori and her dead friend Kozue owned. Due to her uncanny personality, Bella quickly becomes a victim of constant bullying by her classmates. However, there is something very unsettlingly strange about her. Therefore, everything makes everyone wonder what is it that connects Umenokisaka Bella with the dead Sasaki Kozue? Or what was the real truth behind the sudden tragic death of Sasaki Kozue?
The Feel-Good Part
The drama is scary. The eerie vibes of the story keep you at the edge of your seat, and you are never really sure of what might happen when. The story is unpredictable and keeps you demanding more. The characters are very well portrayed, and the chill sending cinematography is just perfect. Bella’s character is guaranteed to terrify you. Also, the end will leave you with your mouth wide open, and when everyone sings the song of Bella – it is assured that a cold shiver will run down your spine.
The Disappointing Factor
If you are not a fan of the horror genre or someone who does not like watching shows which have a slight supernatural touch to them, then you might not enjoy this show. The friendship, the mystery, or the relationship between the characters all adds up to the horror element of the show only. The story does feel somewhat underdeveloped at points, and the plot has a few loopholes. Some things might even confuse the audience.

The drama has a contemporary vibe which is very fine and entertaining. It isn’t a long series with super lengthy episodes. Therefore, anyone can easily binge-watch it, and will even want to do so. The superb cast is precisely what adds to the real pleasure of the show. The main cast includes ‘Emma’ as Umenokisaka Bella and ‘Otomo Karen’ as Ohno Shiroi. They both do a fabulous job. ‘Emma’s’ acting as Bella is so convincing, and it feels so real. Her weird and sinister vibes will leave you mortified. On the other hand, ‘Otomo Karen’ because of her innocence and genuineness will be loved by many. In addition to all this, ‘Tanaka Shuri,’ ‘Noda Mio,’ ‘Morita Kokoro,’ ‘Ogawa An,’ ‘Nomura Hironobu,’ ‘Rokkaku Seiji,’ etc. are part of the supporting cast.

If you love stories with a paranormal touch, this is a perfect choice. The drama isn’t wholly a cliché, so the curiosity of what could happen next will always keep you hooked, while the ending will leave you stunned out of fear.
