Drama Digest

Tsuyuko Hoshino is a nurse who aspires to be a violinist. Her ex-husband fell in love with one of his coworkers and requested a divorce. Tsuyuko currently lives with her adolescent daughter Akari Hoshino, who suffers from heart disease. Tsuyuko meets high school music instructor Santa Fuyuno at a cafe where he is playing the flute one day. He has captured her attention. Even though she knows he is engaged to Hanako Tonaka and works at the same high school as her, she can’t help but fall in love with him. Meanwhile, Akari has lost confidence in others as a result of her father abandoning her and her mother. She has no friends at school, but her homeroom teacher, Santa Fuyuno, is concerned about her. His feeling toward her develops romantically.

The Feel-Good Part

Most viewers would agree that it was absolutely ridiculous. The plot develops gradually but has such unconceivable craziness in each character. It may seem over the top but who doesn’t need a random dose of madness that surpasses your imagination once in a while?

The Disappointing Factor

It explores mature themes and definitely makes it a bit crazy to watch. You begin to love the characters in spite of them being on the extremes of psychotic behaviours. This is a bit concerning as a viewer.

In-Depth Analysis

This is insanity at its finest. It is a fun watch to just think how absurd the narrative has become. The psycho wife role has been portrayed excellently. It is indeed an unusual unexpected love triangle that sprouts in the most unexpected relationship. Most people might like the thrill of it. However, the only aspect they may find a bit unaccustomed to and a bit concerned with is the teacher-student romantic relationship. Moreover, it connects the viewers with fears. The fear of being abandoned like the wife and eventually getting on board the ‘crazy’ train lingers in the mind of the viewers. The fear of getting attachment issues and eventually spiting everyone out of lack of love also lingers in the minds of most viewers. The series also holds importance in today’s era with respect to finding love or physical/emotional attraction in the most unexpected places and people.

Star Power

The ensemble has beautiful actors who have done their parts absolutely amazing and accurate.

Overall Opinion

It might be an over-the-top type of series for you but if you’re up for a fun watch with a ridiculous plot and pacing, you may like this. Eventually, it grows on you even if you didn’t like it in the beginning. It does have a different sort of charisma.
