Drama Digest
“Pandora no Kajitsu: Kagaku Hanzai Sousa file” is a Japanese mystery drama series that is adapted from the novel named “SCIS Kagaku Hanzaisosahan Tensai Kagakusha Mogami Yukiko no Chosen”. The story revolves around a police officer named Kohiruimaki Yuichi who lost his beloved wife. Mogami Yukiko is a genius scientist who has not left that community. Kohiruimaki founded an organization named “Scientific Crime Countermeasures Office”. This office has the best intelligent scientists. They take up mysterious cases which the normal police and legal system cannot solve.
The Feel-Good Part
As a Sci-Fi show, it has an incredible display of science and dramatics. The story is unique and has never been seen before. The dedication and efforts in put by the production team are visible. The suspense and mystery provide the perfect amount of thrill. The series shows a powerful weapon to tackle all cases which are science. Science today can challenge even the greatest monsters of the world. The show will drive you with curiosity with every passing episode. It is a rollercoaster ride with emotions questioning humanity and ethics.
The Disappointing Factor
They directed well the plot lines, and the end is quite predictable. The production of the show is not great despite the efforts put in because of the low budget. Some parts of the show were disappointing, as it portrays some “pseudo-scientific” elements.
In-Depth Analysis
The “Scientific Crime Countermeasures Office” specializes in issues related to science and technology. A genius scientist called Mogami Yukiko is the advisor and is in charge of the investigation of investigating scientific cases. Kohiruimaki brought her to the department by Kohiruimaki. The two of them together unravel the science hidden behind specific incidents and not only forensic investigation. Another detective named Hasebe Tsutomi is also part of it. He is a detective by nature and has no significant experience in science. But he holds a long time of experience in the former Investigation department.
Star Power
The two main roles played by Dean Fujioka and Kishii Yukino did an outstanding performance together and showed their brilliance. Dean Fujioka’s role is seriously driven by desperation from the death of his wife. Kishii Yukino’s character was a cheerful one, yet a genius when necessary.
Overall Opinion
This is an excellent show to binge-watch, especially if you are a fan of detective and mystery series like “Detective Conan”. It is a unique addition to the scientific series that elevates the importance of science in every existing thing.
