The story takes place in “Ladies’ court Hatori” which is an apartment building only for women. Words can turn into reality in that place and it has something that is not human, which is called “Kotodama”.

The Feel-Good Part

The script and the storyline were of high quality, with very intriguing scenes which are a little scary and not overdone. The production, directing, and music are all very well done. Most of the cast are charming women, hence it gains more popularity from male viewers.

The Disappointing Factor

The only disappointing factor in the show is the last episode in which many fans complained that the ending is not satisfactory.

In-Depth Analysis

The story starts with Utagawa Kotoha, a woman with a curious mind who moves into “Ladies’ Court Hatori” upon getting information from a friend. She encounters strange phenomena there. She meets a man named Nakame Reishi who calls himself a psychic but does not have psychic abilities, even though his grandmother is an “itako”, a blind woman trained to become a spiritual medium. His aunt, Iwato Shima, is also the head of the Shinto shrine. Utagawa Kotoha and Nakame Reishi, ask Iwato Shima to perform an exorcism.

Star Power

The female characters drove the most attention to the show with their charms and gained excellent ratings.

Overall Opinion

Overall, it’s a decent horror drama, with not so scary plot. It is satisfying enough because it’s realistic and not overdone. This show is a perfect jam for all Japanese horror lovers.
