Drama Digest
Every family has some little secrets to hide, but what happens when an outsider finds them out. Mitazono Kaoru is a diligent housekeeper working for the Musubi housekeeping agency. The agency strangely only accepts certain types of household assignments. While working in their homes, Kaoru likes to find the secrets in every house and sometimes will help them solve the mysteries around these secrets to catch the culprits. But Mitazono Kaoru also hides her secret, one of which is that she is a cross-dressed man.
The Feel-Good Part
The mysteries revolving around the households with their revealed secrets were well planned. The show portrays an original and creative storyline that will keep getting interesting with each episode. Viewers will not only have a suspenseful plotline but also get tips and tricks for cleaning throughout the show. This show balances the comedy and mystery sides perfectly well. The acting of the protagonist is on point with the character. Each character is unique and precisely fitting to the storyline. The meddling housekeeper that finds your dark secrets and unravels them without carrying any consequences keeps the plot engaging and entertaining. Motokariya Motoko is a newly joined housekeeping agency that might change a few things around the agency.
The Disappointing Factor
The main lead is sometimes questionable because of his actions of revealing others’ miseries, fears, and secrets without actually helping them in any way to have his fun. Some of the plotlines were a bit over the top to believe in it. The side characters were one-dimensional and sometimes used for comic relief.
In-Depth Analysis
Mitazono Kaoru is a very skillful, clever person, who works as a housekeeper for a high-class agency, that likes to find others’ secrets, and enjoys the mysteries around them. But Kaoru has her secrets, one being a cross-dresser. Every day a different house is assigned where Kaoru and other cleaners clear the messes around the house with the help of unique tricks and tips. He enjoys digging for secrets of everyone, always interested in other person’s business. Sometimes she helps them solve the problems, but sometimes it gets worse. The mysterious secrets with the family dramas and comical individuals will keep the story engaging.
Star Power
The directors of this show are Katayama Osamu and Komatsu Takashi. Matsuoka Masahiro plays the main lead Mitazono Kaoru, Inoo Kei plays as Murata Hikaru, and Yamamoto Maika plays the role of Motokariya Motoko in this miniseries.
Overall Opinion
Highly recommend it to family drama lovers with a side of mystery to go with it. It has very addictive storylines that will keep audiences invested. In some ways, viewers might not feel great about the choices made by the main lead, yet it could still be a good enough watch.
