Drama Digest

Is it fun to be the object of a perfect man’s adoration? This is the start of a cohabitation story between Waka, a woman who feels Shinobu, a man who has an unrequited love for her and is trying everything he can to persuade her, says, “It’s more pleasure to be satisfied by my interests than it is to be pleased by love. Waka, a librarian, needed a location to store her huge library of books. She was reacquainted with Shinobu, a researcher, who had kissed her unexpectedly in high school while reading Tanizaki Junichirou’s “A Fool’s Love”…?! They began living together out of nowhere, and when he declared his “love” for her, Waka immediately rejected him?!!

The Feel-Good Part

I’m charmed by their chemistry and the zeal with which they portray themselves. The guy lacks desire in his kisses. I suppose the lady, in comparison to the male, is willing to give her all. The guy wants to look good on film during the kissing sequence. It isn’t even a passionate kiss.

It is an amusing story. There is no revenge, and no one is killed, thus it isn’t as frightening as some reviewers claim. The gentleman is dedicated to the lady. When you’re in that active phase, insecurities develop. That’s what a cheerful romance drama should be like.

The Disappointing Factor

I thought the story was interesting, but it was a little too simplistic for me. There may have been more twists in the plot, but whatever it was, it was entertaining. Also, I believe the guy could have been depicted to be more impassioned, which would have contributed to the drama’s intensity.

In-Depth Analysis

This story is really about budding hot first phase of romance. To those who have been in toe-curling relationships or close to this. Watch this just as you drink a fresh cup of coffee. Nothing too heavy. No one dies here, no revenge, no family conflicts. Same old chick flick with good tasteful romantic scenes. This drama spans a 4-month love story. In reality, that’s a drop of water in a strong current of lets-always-work-it-out real-life drama. So curl back and have low expectations.

Star Power

The drama was fun watching the lead characters do an excellent job that was super good.

Overall Opinion

It is an easy and enjoyable show to watch for audiences who enjoy love dramas.
