Drama Digest

The drama is a Japanese boys love adaptation from the popular manga series. The story is about Adachi, who is very shy and works in a stationary company. He loves collecting stationary items and keeps his room decorated with supplies. He has never been into a relationship before and has no experience with love. His colleagues constantly remind him of his virginity. They told him about an old urban myth where if you turn 30 being a virgin, you’ll receive supernatural powers. As fate happened, he turned 30 and gained the ability to read people’s mind by just touching them. He can also get to know about their crucial feelings or whatever they are feeling. This superpower made him even more nervous and he began avoiding people as much as he could. One day, he got into a very crowded elevator where he happened bumped into Kurosawa. Kurosawa worked in the same company as Adachi did. He is breathtakingly handsome, sophisticated and did everything perfectly. He had a very nice family and education background and has won all kinds of medals. Kurosawa was quite famous in their company as he one of the top salesperson there. Just as the two touched accidentally, Adachi could read his mind and feelings and surprisingly Kurosawa was attracted towards Adachi and has a crush on him. This situation made Adachi extremely uncomfortable as he could read Kurosawa’s intimate thoughts every now and then. He tried running away from him as much as he could but failed to do so. Kurosawa’s sweet and understanding nature made Adachi attract to him. Adachi soon developed feelings for Kurosawa but is reluctant to convey his feelings to him. Will Adachi be able to convey his feelings? Will he be able to get rid of the superpower? Watch the drama to answer these questions.

The Feel-Good Part

The drama surprisingly turned out to be very unique and intimate. All the little details were done perfectly. The audience loved the drama and it gained many positive reviews and feedbacks.

The Disappointing Factor

There weren’t many intimate moments between the two lovers as the audience anticipated.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama was very unique and excellent, and so was the storyline. It was a light-weight, heartwarming story that impressed the viewers. All the episodes had the perfect balance of sarcasm, romance and drama. There was a lot of new content, creativity and imagination put into this story. The director did a fantastic job with the storyline. The cinematography and the editing were on point. Adachi’s and Kurosawa’s romantic chemistry was on point. Adachi was insecure at first due to his shyness but he has a kind heart. Kurosawa is the perfect boyfriend, one could wish for. The drama mainly centered on the development of their relationship. There weren’t too many explicit scenes but just a sweet and natural chemistry that the two shared. The drama delivered important messages about love and understanding while respecting the LGBTQ community.

Star Power

Eji Akaso as Kyoshi Adachi and Keita Machida as Yuichi Kurosawa did a fabulous job! No other actors could have done the roles better than them. Their chemistry was immaculate and left the audience in love with them. If there’s ever a sequel made for the series, we’d only like to see the two actors as Adachi and Kurosawa.

Overall Opinion

This series could be easily said to be one of the best Japanese BL series ever made.
