Luo Ou and Tang Mi are brother and sister, one of them with the father’s surname and the other with their mother’s. Their parents passed away early on, and since then, both of them started staying together. Luo Ou, was scouted for his talent in acting, and became a rising star, while Tang Mi continued living her ordinary life. Luo Ou suddenly got into an accident and went into a coma; after, the accident, Luo Ou woke in Tang Mi’s body, where he realized that they now share a body. Tang Mi taking up her brother’s word, joined the crew of his upcoming drama, where she met her high school senior, Yang Han, who does not remember her. Intrigued by this motivated young man, he finds out about Tang Mi’s “secret,” The duo falls into a series of misunderstandings, making them fall for each other.

The Feel-Good Part

The story has many fascinating twists and interesting parts which keep the viewer hooked up. The scheme has a unique storyline with soul swap and since it was between siblings which a new look up for a change. The series is perfectly integrated with comedy, humor, and pleasant romance. This series depicts how much one can sacrifice for someone they love. The female lead is perfectly blended in both male and female roles. The story was relatively easygoing with the overall plot, which comes with the bonus that one can enjoy even without being familiar with native Chinese speech.

The Disappointing Factor

Though this drama had a positive response with unique plot and concepts, the later or second half was tedious or draggy. Also, the fact that the twin brother was still in a coma till the end and an open-ending for his part was a bit disappointing.

In-Depth Analysis

Two Souls in One is not any typical romantic drama with the body and soul swap concept, but it is also a bit experimental and risky. The plot is unique and well-written. The chemistry between the leads was refreshing and cute. The relationship among the supporting actors complimented the main lead and the sibling’s relationship was very well executed. You will get a good lesson on how much one can sacrifice for the person they love and admire.

Star Power

The lead actors did their roles effortlessly and were appreciated for their acting and chemistry. Li Xin Ran effortlessly managed to pull off both the female and male roles. Even all the supporting characters fit their parts perfectly.

Overall Opinion

Two Souls in One is a good love story with a special concept and plot. If you want to explore some new concepts and unique plot with light-hearted and sweet chemistry, this series is for you.
