Drama Digest

Fate seems determined to bring Lu Jia and Xu Jia Xiu together. Jia, as a teenager, spent most of her days dreaming of catching the attention of Xu Jia Xiu. Jia musters up her courage and writes him a letter, only to be disappointed, as Jia Xiu cannot answer, as he had no prior feelings for Lu Jia. They eventually grow up and spend years in different cities. However, fate has other plans, as Lu Jia returns to her hometown. Jia Xiu finally begins to realize the unexpected change in his heart. Watch the drama to discover how their love blossoms as fate work its magic.

The Feel- Good Part

This is a romantic fluff Chinese drama, where both the main leads are pleasant and sweet. The main lead may appear to be cold, but he isn’t. The part in that the female lead falls in love with the male lead, not once but twice, is unexpectedly cute. Also, their chemistry looks very good and natural.

The Disappointing Factor

The ending was not very convincing, as it left the audience wanting more. A more personal and romantic end between the leads would have been better.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama may show that Lu Jia had a one-sided unrequited crush, but surprisingly, it is a secret crush too, which makes the drama more interesting. The story is not only focused on the romantic fluff between the leads, but it also covers business struggles, as well as team spirit. Also, the love triangle shown in the drama does not get irritating as it does not take too long to resolve.

Star Power

The lead roles are perfect characters for this role as the chemistry between them is very good. Tang Xiao Tian (Xu Jia Xiu) perfectly plays the essence of the cold male lead. Meanwhile, Sun Qian (Lu Jia), too, does justice to her role.

Overall Opinion

If you’re looking for a light romantic Chinese drama, with a hint of business struggle, “Way back into love” is the drama for you.
