Drama Digest

This drama portrayed that how a young man name ZhongKui first select his partners to form a team of three people who will help him out. In fighting dangerous demons. The concept is good but what matters & interesting is to watch how he will make everything possibly makes everyone come together and make everything possible.

The Feel-Good Part

The drama is the best Example of brotherhood & friendship great choice in those aspects. The efforts put in the appearance of actors are something to be praised for. The character development is fantastic & to look forward to. The message given in drama is so profound, so understandable. The plot is excellent, casting & specifically in the department of costume they did a phenomenal job.

The Disappointing Factor

The CGI didn’t do their work in a perfect way as the perfection; the most acceptable output wasn’t present on the screen at all. Also, the story didn’t have a great built up from the beginning. Although the plot is great the presentation is terrible, so that’s a negative point for sure.

In-Depth Analysis

A great mighty Chinese deity who has the responsibility of dealings with all demons & evilness but his life & fate keeps challenging him & testing his capability. The test or task shown is tremendous concept-wise. Of course, not to forget the brotherhood bond established between all the brothers is something to cherish as well as to appreciate. The beliefs & sacrifice demonstrated in the drama are touching & emotional. So, an excellent drama for story/script aspects.

Star Power

All the actors, actresses and supporting characters pulled off their characters well. The expression, the bond is to the point & can be felt through the screen. So overall, the acting is phenomenal. Every nature justified & suited the leads. It felt like roles were made for them only.

Overall Opinion

From story to music to costumes, everything is great in drama. Except for the CGI, if you can avoid those terrible CGI, you can go for this drama based on the plot and everything.
