Drama Digest

Bai Li Xing Xuan, the general’s daughter, is on a secret mission to recover and protect a lost seal that has been missing since Lord Zhao Hua’s death. As she embarks on this journey, she meets Fu Ye, a masked hero known as ‘The Red Demon’ by night and a rich playboy by day.

She poses as a bride and marries a man who is famed for being his family’s “black sheep,” or so she believes.

The Feel-Good Part

The acting was superb, the main characters have wonderful chemistry, and the story was interesting and pleasant, with just the right amount of plot and romance without dragging on. It almost makes you want more, wishing it could be just a little longer.

 The Disappointing Factor

Some of the episodes produced are on a tight budget, and they sacrifice excellent actors, costumes, and directing, among other things. This drama has an amateur production feel to it, but the cast’s acting, beautiful costumes, and competent directing will surprise you.

The entire production is on par with full-budget productions, but with a more compact tale.

 In-Depth Analysis

This drama episode can range from as short as 2 minutes to as long as 40 minutes.

This story is finished with a second season, which, even when both seasons are combined, is still the perfect length. Instead of viewing a 60-hour drama solely for the beautiful storyline, you can now watch both seasons without fast-forwarding.

This is a drama that gives you simply the charming romance and exactly the proper amount of character development and story specifics of the major protagonists, from beginning to end, with beautiful chemistry between them.

Star Power

The acting was great, and Baili Xingxuan and Fu Ye, the two main characters, have lovely chemistry. Jingxuan, who played Yang Yubin, also known as the third young master, performed an excellent job in the part. The narrative was enjoyable and lovely, with just the right amount of plot and romance without dragging on.

 Overall Opinion

A pretty good drama with an upright storyline and visuals for Chinese drama enthusiasts.
