Drama Digest
The story sets off with a strong-willed reporter, who sneaks into a hospital, impersonating as a nurse, to get a shot of the prominent star, who met with a car accident. During the period, she comes across Shao Zhenrong, an urbane and charming doctor who was on duty, leading to the emergence of a poignant love relationship. Henceforth, the situation comes, when Du Xiaosu (the female lead) has a fortuitous encounter with Shao Zhenrong’ s brother Lei Yuzhen, who in the past had a relationship with Du Xiaosu, but had to terminate their relationship due to Lei Yuzhen mother’s chastise. When Lei learns about his brother’s relationship with Du Xiaosu, prohibited their relationship as he could not endure the pain of constantly seeing her with his brother. This leads to an unfortunate breakup of the loving couple later. However, during heavy rainfall, Shao Zhenrong who encounters a mudslide halfway on his way to the hospital ends up in a situation of being rescued. As to the tragic event, Shao Zhenrong loses his life, while he went to volunteering doctor camp . In the aftermath of the disastrous event, Du Xiaosu becomes much involved with her work to overcome the pain of losing Shao Zhenrong but gets admitted to the hospital as her body fails to support her because of fatigue. Lei, who witnesses all of this was moved by her determination and kindness decides to help her anonymously, he also fails in resisting his feelings for her anymore as he never stopped loving her from the beginning. However with his mother’s opposition to accepting her, who in time also plots many distressing tactics in order to make things difficult for her. With his hurdles and misconceptions does Lei get to express his feelings for her? Will Du Xiaosu ever be able to forget her past and accept what’s coming to her path?
The Feel-Good Part
The story may take unexpected turns in between, which becomes more exciting and curious for the audience. The emotional touch that has been applied within some of the scenes can be congenial to the viewers. The justification about love, which doesn’t require any magnitude to bloom at its best time is certainly outdone. The understanding and acceptance between the three leads are best to their belief and sincerity which doesn’t hold any sort of exaggeration.
The Disappointing Factor
The creation in the later part after Shao Zhenrong could have been more interesting, as that is indulged with stereotypical drama, which the viewers may find to be irrelevant. Lei and Du Xiaosu as the leads could have been involved in most of the scenes after the death of Shao Zhenrong.
In-Depth Analysis
The series has a chain of events that takes the viewers on an emotional ride that deeply connects to the characters. Although there are misfortunes that are embedded, there’s also hope that can be reformed, which can keep us in motion.
Star Power
Li Qin has done an amazing job in depicting her role by surviving as an independent and determined woman. Shawn Dou and Zhang Yunlong have performed effortlessly. The extra performers have certainly executed well in enhancing the drama to a greater level.
Overall Opinion
The melodrama completely shakes the audience on a deeper level. Also with the romance, the series surely reaches everyone to their heart’s core. As a whole, the viewers will definitely grow fonder over the series until it’s last.
