He somehow ends up dying with the serial killer; he surprisingly wakes up in the past, caught in a web of time traps. The Feel-Good Part
The drama at the start is pretty smooth enough to keep the audience amused and wanting more. The dark secrets and the pasts of the main characters were touching. There were suspenseful scenes and cat and mouse chases between the protagonist and the antagonists. The encounters between Zhang Hai Feng and Zhao Bin Bin were the best part of the drama. It is suspenseful enough to keep the audience on their toes.
The Disappointing Factor
The ending was ambiguous. There were no clear-cut answers. The motive behind the killing and plotting wasn’t that convincing. The fantasy elements weren’t that satisfying. The ending could’ve been better, perhaps a bit longer, to wrap things up properly. It gets a bit confusing towards the end.

The story is suspenseful with the involvement of time travel and crime. After dying to a serial killer, Hai Feng woke up in the past and decides to find the truth behind the death of his daughter. While doing so, he unravels hidden secrets of the people around him and discovers that the web of conspiracy was planted twenty years ago. The series also shows the dark and tragic past of the characters and encounters between the main leads. The drama revolves around time, death, and secrets. The murder case was nicely crafted to keep the viewers entertained.
Star Power
Lu Han, who played Zhao Bin Bin, portrayed his part well. What’s more interesting is that it was Lu Han’s first time playing the villain role. The series is attractive due to all the characters playing their part well.
Overall Opinion
The Sci-Fi and suspenseful drama will thoroughly entertain you. If you like an excellent murder plot with the involvement of time travels, then it is a must-watch for you.
