Drama Digest
Perfect Partner is a Chinese drama that aired in 2020. The drama tells the story of two public relations officers who are quite distinct from each other but start growing together as they work as a team. Wei Zhe is a Public Relation officer specializing in Crisis communication and has built a name for himself in the niche, receiving several accolades and awards. On the other hand, Jiang Dalin is a native rookie in the field. While she struggles in her professional life, even so, she gives her 100%, which eventually does get noticed. The two of them form a partnership as professionals and discover that they both possess different skill sets, which makes for good teamwork. The two of them stay by each other while working and eventually grows as a person.
The Feel-Good Part
The best part about this rom-com drama is the natural development of the relationship between the two lead characters, which started off as a friendship. The acting is also quite good from all of the cast members of the drama. The different cases that were explored were equally interesting and will surely keep the viewers entertained.
The Disappointing Factor
The pace of the entire drama is quite good, but the rushed ending of the drama is quite disappointing.
In-Depth Analysis
Perfect Partner is an office romance drama that explores the genre of friendship, comedy, and romance pretty decently. The storyline of the drama is pretty nice and well-written though it had a much better scope which the writers failed to explore. The characters are written appropriately, which suits the overall vibe of the drama. The development of the relationship between the lead pair is quite natural, and even if it’s slow, the progress seems quite natural as the relationship grows from friendship into love. Some of the characters have their flaws which might eventually annoy many viewers but even so, these are bearable. The relationship between the other characters, however, had a rather vagueness attached to the nature of it. The cases are interesting and have a factual element in them, which will invoke interest in many of the viewers.

Huang Xuan plays the character of Wei Zhe, Tong Li Ya plays the character of Jiang Da Lin, and Chen Shu plays the role of Si Da Lai. The supporting characters are played by Gao Lu as Shu Qing, Che Xiao as Nie Ling Zi, Hong Jia Ning as Lu Yi Si, Ma Liang as Xue Yi, Tian Yi Tong as Ma Bang Ni, Gao Kai Yuan as Chen Zhuo, Li Ze Feng as Shen Ying Jie, Wang Dong as He Hong Wei, Chen Mu Yang as Du Wei Lian, Chen Guo as Tang Wen Wen, Arash Estilaf as Listz, Liu Huan as Purple Poison, Cao Yuan as Li Jing Rou, Guo Tong Tong as Lin Na, and many more.
Overall Opinion
Perfect Partner is one of the well-made Chinese office romance dramas that equally focuses on cases and office work while also focusing on romance. The storyline of pretty decent and light-hearted, which is perfect for a casual watch.
