DRAMA DIGEST:
The storyline of this series differs from that of a usual Chinese-Drama. The plotline is unique, but a little silly. It proceeds with a passing comet named “WTF666” (funny, right?) with mysterious powers that bring about excellent human relationships. A dog owner (Miao Yu) and a cat owner (Wang Chen) exhibit animalistic traits whenever they’re unhappy. Miao Yu is a tacky Chief Executing Officer with an entrepreneurial intellect. Wang Chen is a shy designer who doesn’t indulge well within fashion circles. Their destiny becomes intertwined because of a live stream and a misfortune at the pet hospital. From then on, once they feel sad, he acts like her cat, whereas she acts like his dog. Seems interesting right! Watch the series to know more!
THE FEEL-GOOD PART:
A simple, fluffy, heart-warming rom-com that will surely steal your heart. The way the relationship between the cast grew is just so admirable and realistic.
The chemistry between the characters works very well, especially the major significance. It is one of the underrated gems of Chinese drama.
The romance is lovely and cute. The music is decent. It has simply an adequate quantity of comedy. The pace of the show is ideal.
THE DISAPPOINTING FACTOR:
The storyline seems predictable quite a few times. They gave more space to side characters, which is a genuine disappointment. The writers have used the premise inconsistently. There are many holes in the series’ plot. The music is pleasant but could be better. Some might feel it’s a bit dragged.

My Lonely Planet is a Chinese Romantic Comedy Drama. The story revolves around Miao Yu, and Wang Chen, who exhibit animalistic traits whenever they’re unhappy after the passing of the WTF666 comet. The chemistry in this series is more of cute and sweet kinds. You’ll love the romantic moments of the leads. The romance between the two leads is so lovely and natural. The story will also show a business, which is also very interesting.
You’ll surely notice the minor flaws in the series’ storyline, but it’s still worth a watch.
STAR POWER:
The key actors did a fantastic job in their roles. Yang Shi Ze played the character of being a nerd and being clueless in romance decently well. Meanwhile, Zhang Lin Yi in her debut series was outstanding. She played the character cutely. Watching both together was a delight. The supporting actors did decently well.
OVERALL OPINION:
If you are looking to watch a unique, fluffy, rom-com, then you can give this a try. The plot of the series is unique. It is a must-watch.
