Drama Digest –
Xiang Xia is good luck when she becomes deskmates with her idol, the handsome Jin Han. They go through a series of laughs and fun moments which leads to a beautiful friendship between the two. They eventually fall in love with each other.
The Feel-Good Part –
The fun and entertaining segments between the two are intricate and exciting. The sets and locations where the shooting takes place are lovely and scenic. The apparel and the aesthetics of all characters and the shooting area are well-executed. This show is unbelievably high quality, with the editing done slightly different from the other shows.
The Disappointing Factor –
The background music is overdone in some parts of the series while being friendly and appropriate in some features. The series also lacks logic and coherence.
In-Depth Analysis –
This miniseries broadcasted on Youku TV has shown some excellent character development among the Chinese dramas. The female lead especially is very bold, strong and independent, which brings a new-made charm to the series. The way Xiang Xia handles the situation she faces is applaudable. This series adds another star to its makers by being a miniseries, which is time-saving for the viewers but also holds the attention of the audience, and it keeps them excited and eager for the story.
Star Power –
The story unfolded piece by piece with each episode, and that’s the beauty of this series. It keeps on getting better and better. The romantic segment is better, with good flashbacks showing their love after they separate. Both of the characters have their fears and pains, and they both deal with them and also in the quest of finding each other and their love. This is one of the beautiful stories made in the form of a drama.
Overall Opinion –
This series is recommended for the characters and the script. It is a worthwhile watch for those who prefer to watch romantic fictional tales.
