The Feel-Good Part
This is a pure fluffy romance drama based on time travel. This is so sweet that you can’t stop watching this. The interaction between the main leads is super funny and heart-fluttering. The chemistry between them is so sweet that it might give you diabetes. They are so cute to watch.
Besides, the main lead- the brother, is also a refreshing character. When he enters the scene, you cannot stop laughing. His interaction with Hou Chi is hilarious.
The OSTs are sweet and ear-catching. The OSTs are well suited to the plot.
Star Power
The actors have performed well in their roles. Zhao Ying Bo as Hou Chi is perfect for portraying an adorable immortal character. Hou Chi is an immortal of 200 years who does not know anything about love, and Shi Xia is the first girl he met. Hence his silly questions with an adorable face make your heart flutter. In a word, Hou Chi is a sweet cinnamon bar.
On the other hand, Shi Xia is a pampered sister of her brother. Sometimes she acts like a brat, but she is also an emotional and sensible character. Wu Qian Ying as Shi Xia has successfully pulled through her character.
Dai Yun Fan as Shi Dong, her brother’s role is a funny yet firm character. His protectiveness over his sister is heart-warming to watch, and his moments with Hou Chin are hilarious. Every time he appears on the screen with Hou Chin, it will create a series of laughter which is refreshing to watch.
The Disappointing Factor
Sometimes the plot feels cliché, but it is heart-warming too. The ending is rushed. There are some loopholes. Some mysteries are unsolved till the end. The time travel background is also felt unnecessary at some point. But otherwise, it is quite an enjoyable drama.
In-Depth Analysis
The drama progresses with a blooming relationship between Hou Chin and Shi Xia. Their chemistry is eye candy. Both the characters are adorable, especially Hou Chin who will make your heart warm. Shi Dong’s protectiveness towards his sister will make you want to get a brother. This is so touching.
As the story progresses, they start to find a way to back to their world and Hou Chin starts to find the way to become the ruler of the world to help them in going back in their world.
There is a nice balance between romance and angst.
The antagonist is also not that villainous character. He has his own story.
In the end, the special scenes of Hou Chin and Shi Xia in the modern world are bonus happiness for the viewers.

Overall this is a complete fluff drama. Those who want to watch something light should give it a try. This also has a time travel backdrop which is quite a popular topic. The drama is not flawless but it is enjoyable enough to lift your mood.
