Drama Digest

Rise is an university student who meets Kairi, a young man, while working part-time. Kairi resembles her elder brother, with whom she has lost contact following their parents’ divorce. Rise was attracted to Kairi, but she happened to witness Kairi in his notebook alleging that he had killed someone.

The Feel-Good Part

The plot has a great deal of potential, but there isn’t enough time for it to develop in a natural way. The male lead is what you’ll appreciate thus far. His ability to create emotions with his eyes is incredible.

The Disappointing Factor

This is a unique love story. The story jumps back and forth in time, and the Female lead can only remember her brother as a wonderful person from her past. Whenever the truth about her brother is revealed, her emotions are thrown into disarray, as is her connection with the Male lead.

In-Depth Analysis

Riyo works part-time at a retail business while attending university. She meets a young man named Kairi one day at work who shares an eerie likeness to her elder brother, whom she hasn’t seen in years. Kairi is an insomniac who has attempted but failed to overcome his condition. When they meet, sparks fly – she is drawn to him, and he realises that when he is with her, his insomnia subsides, allowing him to finally enjoy a good night’s sleep. However, while staying at his flat, Riyo comes across Kairi’s diary and chooses to browse through it. When she reads a post that appears to contain her new lover confessing to a murder, she is terrified.

Star Power

The actors gave excellent performances, and the subject was interesting. The mangaka did an excellent job at expressing the characters’ feelings, particularly their dread, and making the audience feel it as well.

Overall Opinion

A tense drama with numerous twists. You go from high to low, then back to high.
