Drama Digest:

A young woman named Nan Xing enjoys writing in her spare time. She has written a tale with a remote past and a villain by the name of Xiao Wu Di. He is an excellent boxer who is also shrewd and devious as they come.

In a moment of despair, Nan Xing wishes for Xiao Wu Di to come to life and assist her one day. But when Xiao Wu Di unexpectedly materializes in front of her, the age-old adage “be cautious what you wish for” rings true! To her surprise, Xiao Wu Di decides to remain in the physical world and insists on moving in next door. He also promises to support her whenever she asks for it, even when it’s for problems of the heart. But when Xiao Wu Di starts to develop feelings for her, things might get rather nasty.

The Feel-Good Part:

This is a cute and light romantic comedy. It is intended that this be a fairy tale. You cannot anticipate anything different from it. The youthful at heart will find it the most appealing. A breath of fresh air is provided by the sweet enemies to friends to lovers cliché. This story is bubbling with the desire to fall in love.

The Disappointing Factor:

Even though the writing on this show is a touch mediocre, what can one expect otherwise from such a standard plot? There are times when the speech in this drama is just so immature. Between the male and female leads, it practically reminds one of Tom and Jerry. The conversation was mainly back and forth about relatively simple concerns that grew a little boring and pointless, especially in the episodes before they started dating.

In-Depth Analysis:

Amazing storyline and superb cast could be witnessed. Everything—including the acting, direction, humor, romance, and music—is spot-on. Congratulations to the director for the direction of this. Shenyue also does fantastic acting. She has clearly made significant progress. And this is unquestionably Chenzheyuan’s best piece of art and best performance to date. His expressions are hilariously on point. Watch Mr. Bad, guys, if you want a feel-good drama that will make you laugh, weep, and delight.

Star Power:

Both Shen Yue and Mr. Bad (CZY) make for wonderful leads. Is her persona clunky and foolish? Yes, but it’s cute, and this actress excels at making things cute. She is not flawless but is relatable. The main character is slick, attractive, and cunning. He is a villain with some compassion. His character in the author’s novel was written in that way. Their conversation reminds me of Tom and Jerry, and I guess that’s what makes it entertaining.

Overall Opinion:

Not everything should be so grave and heavy. Watch this fun and fluffy rom-com if you’re searching for a pleasant retreat or just something to cheer you up. Try not to dissect it scene by scene. It is intended to be captivating, like a fairy tale. Don’t advise people to avoid watching this drama. Let them see it and decide for themselves. Watch it to know, Can a man who was once an evil fantasy of hers turn into her Romeo? Or will “Mr. Bad” truly deserve his moniker?
