Drama Digest
Love Under The Stars is mostly a revenge genre based drama. The C-drama explores the genre of Revenge, Romance, Fantasy. The plot is about the daughter of a make-up company’s Chairman, Xia Muxi, who becomes the president of the company right after her graduation. Xia Muxi is betrayed by her boyfriend who is also the general manager of the makeup company, Zhao Tianze. However, things doesn’t go smoothly in Xia Muxi’s life as he is betrayed by her boyfriend who cheats on her with her best-friend and then eventually kills Xia Muxi and occupies the company. And then there, comes the fantasy part of the drama, Xia Muxi is miraculously reborn after her death and goes back to around some months ago. With revenge as her motive, Xia Muxi teams up with a mathematics genius, Lu Xiao. Xiao Muxi tries to save her father and the company from the ill motive of Zhao Tianze while seeking revenge for her murder.
The Feel-Good Part
The best thing about, Love Under The Stars is that though it the duration of each episodes is only of 5 minutes, but the story is paced in a very good flow and doesn’t feel rushed or dragged even though there is a lot going on in the plot, like, murder, revenge, fantasy, romance.
The Disappointing Factor
The detailing of the plotline which is one of the main traits of a series/ drama is kind of missing in Love Under The Stars. The series could also focus a little on its romantic plot as it had a good potential.
In-Depth Analysis
Love Under The Stars is a mini-drama, it has a total episodes of 26 which airs for 4 mins. In this C-drama the female lead, Xia Muxi is betrayed, cheated on and killed by her boyfriend, Zhao Tianze. Zhao Tianze kills her by pushing her off from a building. However, the universe had some other plans and right while she was falling off from a building a meteor appeared and she was miraculously reborn and went back in time a few months ago. Xia Muxi then teams up with a genius, Lu Xiao who is also the male lead of this drama, and eventually they fall in love. Lu Xiao and Xia Muxi later seek revenge from Zhao Tianze for all his wrong doings.
Star Power
Eunice Han plays the female lead, Xia Muxi. Li Jun Lin plays the role of Lu Xiao who is the male lead, while Zhang Ji Jun plays the role of Zhao Tian Ze who is also the main antagonist of the series and Liu Jun Jie plays the support character of Ai Qi.
Overall Opinion
Overall, Love Under The Stars is a very well written and well directed series backed by the good acting skills of the cast. With episodes airing for only 4 minutes, the drama can be binged watched in a single day. If you want to watch something short without investing much time, you must totally go for this C-drama.
