Drama Digest
It mostly depicts Feng San Niang’s collaboration with beggar chef Wang Huangfu Xiaoxian, inn owner Murong Yan, and fish workers to restore the Huaishu Inn to its former grandeur. Du Jie You, the wine saint Dukang’s successor, changed into the god of wishes and arrived at the inn, where he began a series of tales.

In-Depth Analysis
Feng Sanniang joins up with a very poor chef in a narrative about restoring the Huaishu Inn back to its former splendor. Due to her lack of expertise, Feng Sanniang (Yang Luoqian) is having difficulty running the Huaishu Inn. She unintentionally finds Huangfu Xiaoxian’s (Jin Shixi) incredible cooking abilities and boldly joins forces with him as the resident chef, while convincing Murong Yan (Quan Rui) to administer the hall and hiring Da Ya (Zhao Xiaotian) as the sous chef. Every day since then, more stories have emerged. Thus, they embark on this journey and face all ups and downs. As he approaches the inn, Du Jieyou (Ma Ke), the heir of wine saint Du Kang, changes into the deity of wishes.

The outstanding cast lives up to the parts they’ve been given. It makes you question if this play and the performers were destined to be together.
