Drama Digest

A prophecy was given to Fu Yan Qing in the Zhou Dynasty, stating that one of the daughters of their family will become the future empress. But the people think that killing both the sisters will indirectly destroy the throne.

As time goes by, the two sisters fall in love with two different men who have a claim to the throne. Together they fight against the ill-intended forces and safeguard their kingdom.

The Feel-Good Part

The show shows good sisterhood and brotherhood. They cared for each other and trusted one another even when they may act naïve and things don’t go how they planned them to.

The Disappointing Factor

The relationship between the main leads develops with the speed of a snail. It sometimes feels like they both don’t trust each other enough and there are a lot of miscommunications between them. The second lead couples are far better.

In-Depth Analysis

Legend of Two Sisters in the Chaos is a story about two sisters, Fu Yu Sheng and Fu Jin Sheng who are prophesied one of them to be the queen. The people try to assassinate them to somehow harm the throne but with their wits they save themselves. Eventually, Fu Yu Sheng falls in love with Guo Shao, the prince, and the future king. Fu Jin Sheng falls in love with the general, who is best friends with the prince. Guo Shao also loves Fu Yu Sheng and wants to marry her, but due to some turning of events, he ends up marrying her sister.

In the course of the time of the show, many things happen and by the end, Fu Jin Sheng fakes her death and elopes with her lover and the king remarries Fu Yu Sheng.

The cinematography is good. The scenes in which Fu Jin Sheng is doing martial arts and beating up some gangsters are shot very well. But despite having a good storyline, the drama is not executed well. It’s too much chaos and the drama starts to feel boring.

Star Power

The actors are excellent. Every character is given the right role and they did a good job at their respective roles.

Overall Opinion

The show is fine. It is not that bad but not something exceptionally good. 40 episodes feel too much by the end.
