Drama Digest

After passing through various levels, a freshly graduated group of interns land an internship in the international hotel chain BYT. However, in the beginning, no one has the inspiration to do anything but suddenly they are all taken aback when the three months have been given to them to show their worth. Every intern tries to do their best to not get eliminated and gradually find joy in what they do.

But then they find out that the hotel is on the verge of bankruptcy and the owner is about to close it down. The fight to keep the hotel afloat begins then.

The Feel-Good Part

It is a light, humorous drama. Nothing too dramatic. It is just a cute romantic story where the female lead is the intern and the male lead is the CEO. The everyday rich guy, poor girl dynamic but here the income disparity is not a big deal.

The Disappointing Factor

The show focuses only on the romance aspect. The show has a good plot, it can have good interactions with the customers and give a good dive into the lives and different types of customers but it still manages to just move around the male lead and the female lead.

In-Depth Analysis

Yue Ran, Ning Jiajia, Su Shan, and Luo Fei are hotel management graduates and work as an intern in the international hotel chain BYT. Yue Ran is the female lead who is on a three-month constrain period. The male lead is Xie Fan Yu, who is the hotel owner’s son. Yue Ran’s optimistic and juvenile personality attracts Xie Fan Yu and slowly they get into a relationship. But there is someone out there who is trying to destroy the hotel’s reputation and trying to sell the hotel. Thus starts the story of protecting the hotel from these outside forces and the interns play a big role in it.

Despite having a good storyline, the drama fails to bring something new to the audience. the drama is funny at many points but the female lead’s character is a bit childish and at some points where they wanted the drama to be humorous, it gets cringy. The romance was also negotiable. As the story focuses on the romance aspect, the main leads don’t have good chemistry.

Star Power

The acting is average to passable. The male lead’s acting gets a bit cheesy at some points and the female lead doesn’t act mature for a graduate student. The supporting roles were also fine.

Overall Opinion

It is a fair watch. If you are looking for a light, funny, cheesy romance drama then you should give it a try.
