The Feel-Good Part

It is a well thought and well-written drama. Though it is a time travel drama which is of course not possible while watching this drama you don’t want to make sense of all things. There is a lot of time traveling in between the show but it never feels rushed or boring in any aspect.

The way a high schooler goes through a whole different phase in their last year of school is portrayed very well. All the tough decisions of life, love, and living your youth are answered in their way and the drama has its charm to keep the viewers intrigued in every episode.

The Disappointing Factor

Well, there is no such disappointing factor on the show. But as the name of the show is First love again, many viewers might think it is a cute high school love story, well then you are going to be disappointed because as there is a fair amount of romance and focus on the first love aspect, the show basically shows a slice of life.

In-Depth Analysis

First love again is a very fascinating and moving drama. Not your typical high school drama where the male and female lead are just busy falling in love. This one is filled with reality. in the course of 24 episodes, the writer brings many new stories and the students have to take tough decisions because their whole future depends on this last year of high school. Similarly, the male lead has to take these decisions again. It’s not like he regrets any of the decisions he took but this time he tries to live in the moment.

During the show, he goes back and forth between his present and his past but the drama never feels glitched or lacking. It gives a good depth to the show and it is interesting to see what changes happened when he took certain decisions.

Star Power

Patrick Shih and Chen Haoyu have done an amazing job, they have good chemistry and you can see the difference between their past and present selves clearly. The supporting cast was also fantastic.

Overall Opinion

The show is worth watching. If you are looking for a mix of high school drama with their grown-up selves then this one is for you. You won’t regret it.
