Drama Digest

It is a story about the common people, health workers, and frontline workers during the covid-19 pandemic. as the main crisis in China began in Wuhan, many healthcare workers are brought there to look after the ever-increasing number of patients.

The show not only focuses on the healthcare workers but also on the common people amid the pandemic when every place was in lockdown and normal people struggled to even bring groceries to their homes.

The Feel-Good Part

It is a heartwarming show. It really shows the sacrifices the healthcare workers went through to serve the nation. They did not care about their own health and saved the lives of others. They left their own families so that those other people can meet their own.

The Disappointing Factor

The role of women shown in the drama does not match the actual statistics on the number of women healthcare workers. There was also a controversy about this when the show was released. Women played a crucial role in the pandemic. When around 70% of the healthcare were female, people expected women’s stories will be told. But the drama focuses more on male counterparts as compared to females.

 In-Depth Analysis

The show gives a true picture of every bit of struggle people went through during the pandemic. There are many stories told and we can relate to at least some of them because we all were going through the same things and we can relate to them on a personal level.

There are many comfort characters like Uncle Rabbit who becomes a cleaner in the hospital. His always optimistic personality gives hope to the people around him.

The show really goes out of the way to bring some very creative stories like the mother-in-law and the daughter-in-law story and the truck driver story. Many more unique stories just touch your heart.

Star Power

The show feels real and that is because of the amazing cast. They all did an outstanding job at playing their roles and were natural in their respective roles.

Overall Opinion

The show is fantastic and everyone should give it a try and understand what the frontline workers went through during the pandemic.
