Overall Opinion

Fireflies in the Sun is the sequal of the 2019 Chinese movie, Sheep Without a Shepherd and hence is also called as Sheep Without a Shepherd 2. This film explores the topic of the selfless love and devotion a father has for his child. The crime thriller though is an official remake of the American film, John Q, the script isn’t completely the same as the John Q, which provides a surprising factor for the audience. The acting, the storyline, the direction, everything looks perfectly synced on screen which is truly a treat for the eyes. This film has the gripping and engaging storyline which makes the 118 minutes of the film seem to go by fast. Overall, this should definitely be in your thriller genre watchlist.
