Drama Digest
Xia Meng Wei (Yang Xin Ying), a stunning female CEO, and Gu Yan (Cai Yi Jia) instantly fall in love. Gu Yan was merely a counter boy with many skills, unlike Xia Meng Wei, who was a CEO who used to rule. Xia Meng Wei is adamant about pursuing her love and doing everything it takes to gain Gu Yan’s affection.
The Feel-Good Part
On days when you want to relax, feel joyful, and enjoy a show without any significant complex dramas, a feel-good series is undoubtedly lovely to watch. I do wish it were a little bit longer, though, as it would allow viewers like me to savor the cute connection between the leads as well as help tie up the tale and demonstrate growth between the central protagonists. The leading actress is stunning, and the narrative is pleasant.
The Disappointing Factor
The drama is a little corny, but if you enjoy comedies and light dramas occasionally, it’s good for you. The primary objective of the series, in my opinion, is to transmit positive sentiments. Therefore, I would encourage anyone planning to watch it not to have high expectations on how the real story will play out.
In-Depth Analysis
Female CEO pursuing an attractive man who initially shows little interest. They both have a main character who is a “hero” and an authoritative female lead. It depicts the narrative of Gu Yan, the dashing salesperson with the perfect life skills, and Xia Mengwei, the wealthy, domineering female CEO who talks rudely but is genuinely soft-hearted. When they next meet, Xia Mengwei meets and falls in love with Gu Yan and strips off his shirt. She fearlessly pursues Gu Yan in close pursuit. Finally, she enters a relationship with Gu Yan, a man who presents as moderate.
Star Power

The Tencent Video network’s web series, which also features Chu Qian, Zhang Qing Qing, and Jing Ning, is directed by Cai Guo Li. The romance drama series Female CEO Love Me is Cai Yi Jia and Yang Xin Ying’s third joint effort. The characters did a great job playing their parts. I believe they could improve with time. However, I thought they did a decent job, which is appreciable. They displayed excellent chemistry.
Overall Opinion
A good story, light and straightforward. Fun to see and lighthearted. Superior to “If I Never Loved You”! Although the script was better, there was a slight cheese aspect. People who enjoy short dramas should give it a try because it is a short one that can be finished in one sitting.
